Hillary Clinton Announces for President in 2008 Hillary Will Win the Primary, Win the General, & Be Sworn in on January 20, 2009
Little Rock – U.S. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton today announced her candidacy for president in 2008 – she will form an exploratory committee and begin a conversation with America about a new direction for our nation – and Madam President lauds her decision.
“Hillary Clinton will win the primary, win the general, and be sworn in as our next President of the United States on January 20, 2009—at noon Eastern Time,” said Mosemarie Boyd, head of Madam President, a political action committee based in Little Rock. “We’re thrilled that Sen. Hillary Clinton has officially decided to enter this race – she’s in it to win and we’re here to help.
